Family stuffs..

Another great thing about going
to NC
for Kerri's wedding was
getting to see our families.

Love getting to see our Mason!

He is so much fun :)

Mmm...peaches on a fork.

My favorite Kristen!

Love this one of the brothers & Mason...
also, that is not Z's phone.

Beautiful Arden & a silly Shelby

It was raining hard, so Josh generously
offered me his hood.

Pizza & Salad with the family

Precious grands who let us borrow their car
for the weekend...soooo helpful!

On the way to the airport...had such a
great morning with Daddy in Asheville.
Good shopping & great that town!

Wedding Pictures!

I have tons of wedding pictures, but
I won't post all of them.

Sorry (Chris) I've been
really crazy this week,
so this is the first chance I've had to post

Rehearsal dinner
Who's that mysterious fellow in the sombrero?

Cutie-pie flower girl.

Before shot.

The makeup artist brought some
gorgeous palettes.

New shoes from the groom to his bride.

My second mama since 4th grade
getting her hair & makeup done...beautiful!

One pretty bridesmaid getting ready...

Two pretty bridesmaids in the limo...

AH-mazing black velvet painting
of the Last Supper
in the church.

They did it!
Now on the the Party!

Our after shot.

My handsome Z & me.

The in-laws...they have a good time together.

Brother & them!

Um...this cake was soooo scrumptious!

Such joy in this photo :)

Oh yes, Chicken Dance with her new sisters!

These two
(my Dad & the flower girl)
put on quite a show!

Wedding time!

We'll be in North Carolina to celebrate
Kerri & Andrew
this weekend at their wedding!

Z will also be running in a 5k.

It will be good to see
family & friends
and enjoy some
Southern Spring

Hopefully I'll have time to take
a few pictures, too.

The Magnetic Fields!

For my birthday this year
I really wanted to see either
The Magnetic Fields
The Avett Brothers,
both playing March 7.

Both reportedly sol
d out.

I was disappointed
but then on Friday night
Z & I heard WXRT
announce that there were

a few tickets left to
The Magnetic Fields
after all!

So Z hopped online to
snap up the tickets
& off we went last night to the show

The Magnetic Fields is one of
my all-time favorite bands
so I was pretty darn excited
when we got to the Harris Theater
& found out our seats wer
e in the
9th row (what?!!) Amazing!

They were every bit as incredible
as I could have hoped,
but unfortunately no cameras
were allowed, so no photos this time.

Here we are getting ready to leave the apt.

We still plan on seeing The Avett Brothers
at some point (our friends Erin & JT went last night)
but The Magnetic Fields were exactly
what I wanted/needed last night--
the perfect start to my birthday week.

On a side note, the left arm of my glasses
just broke off last night & is currently taped on...
thank goodness for Mondays off & vision insurance.
I'll be heading to the eye doctor this afternoon, so
I may be getting new glasses for my birthday, too.

And on a final side note, my sister just posted a new status
on Facebook. It seems my 3 year old nephew
"comes in from playing, sits down, puts his head in his hands,
and says 'I need an apple; life is so hard!'"

I miss living close to all my nephews!
